Avenue is involved in outreach in many different ways, both in the community, region, and around the world. As followers of Christ, we believe that it is important to help meet the needs of our neighbors, to share God's love with those around us, and to be God's hands and feet in our broken world. The Matthew Project:
I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me. - Matthew 25:4
The Matthew Project takes it's name from these words of Jesus. The Matthew Project provides home furnishings, clothes, and other assistance for families who are in need. The Matthew Project regularly provides couches, chairs, beds, tables, etc. If you are in need of some help for these furnishings, you can contact the church office at 302-422-8111 for more information.
If you would like to donate gently used household furnishings to be used by the Matthew Project, please contact the church office at 302-422-8111 to schedule a pick-up time. Your donation will greatly bless a family in need.
